Fan unit ELS NFC..
Querying, modifying and transferring the ELS NFC.. parameters is possible
both in offline mode (without mains voltage) and in online mode (any operating
state). The App's graphical interface is intuitively designed and displays the
volume-flows, follow-up-time, switch-on-delay times and interval times. The
type-dependent sensor settings can be configured via the ELS App. Unit infor-
mation and unit status, including error messages, can also be read out.
The status overview provides information on the operating state of the ELS
NFC.. and displays the currently measured sensor values and the volume-flow.
If necessary, detected errors and contact information can be sent directly from
the App to Helios Support for resolution.
Terminals 1, 2 and 3 mentioned in chapter „7.5 Wiring diagrams and descrip-
tion" on page 29 are the function inputs. In the Helios ELS App, levels 1, 2
and 3 correspond to the function inputs terminals 1, 2 and 3.
4.4 Volume-flow adjustment via App
The volume-flow adjustment allows for compensation of site-specific in-
fluencing factors.
Settings should only be adjusted by authorised specialists!
The factory settings may only be changed by authorised technicians. Please
observe the design specifications before making any changes to the unit.
The volume-flow of the ELS NFC... units can be adjusted using the Helios
ELS App both in offline mode (without mains voltage) and in online mode (any
operating state).
The volume-flow of the unit can be corrected from -10% to +10%.
Factory-set and actual volume-flows may differ!
The installation situation, accessories, existing tolerances, air pressure and in-
terference pressures are the reason for any deviation from the specified values.
> The minimum volume-flow (15³/h) is not reduced. The maximum volume-flow
(100 m³/h) is not changed.
5.1 Cleaning
m The safety instructions specified in section 1.3 must be observed!
Clean the inner facade, protection grille and visible casing parts with a damp
cloth and warm soapy water if necessary! Do not use aggressive cleaning
agents that could damage the paintwork!
High-pressure cleaners or jet water is not permitted!
5.2 User-maintenance
The fan unit has an extremely large-scale permanent filter with a high dirt
absorption capacity for long cleaning intervals. The permanent filter must be
cleaned and undergo a status test at certain time intervals e.g. semi-annually
(depending on the level of contamination). A contaminated filter will cause a
significant reduction in performance and can cause the overheating and thus
failure of the unit.
The filter can be cleaned with warm water or in the dishwasher up to 60 °C.
Allow to dry properly after cleaning. In case of damage, the permanent filter
must be replaced with a new filter.
Spare filters can be ordered online at www.ersatzluftfilter.de.
– Filter cleaning indicator (Fig.9)
The filter cleaning indicator in the facade indicates the level of contamination of
the permanent filter and the associated reduction in performance via the red
check point.
