3. If the external dust extraction does
not fit, use the additional reducer
piece (7).

1. Remove the dust extraction from
the suction nozzle (6) or reducer
piece (7).
2. Remove the reducer piece (7).

1. Press the two holders on the pro-
tective cover (21) into the recesses
on the device housing.
The protective cover clicks into
place.
You can fold the fitted protective cov-
er up by 65°.
Removing the protective cover
1. Carefully press the two holders on
the protective cover (21) apart.
2. Pull the protective cover to the
front.

1. Press the splinter guard (25) into
the recess in the slide shoe (24).

1. Press the splinter guard (25) out of
the recess in the slide shoe (24).
Checking the battery

1. Press the button (31) next to the
charge level indicator button (30)
on the battery (4).
The LEDs of the charge level in-
dicator show how much charge re-
mains in the battery.
2. Charge the battery (4) when only
the red LED on the charge level in-
dicator (30) is illuminated.

• If warm, allow the battery to cool
before charging.
• Do not expose the battery to dir-
ect sunlight for long periods and
do not place it on a radiator (max.
50°C).
Charging the battery
1. Remove the battery (4) from the
device.
2. Push the battery (4) into the char-
ging slot of the battery charger
(29).
3. Connect the battery charger (29) to
a power outlet.
4. After charging, disconnect the bat-
tery charger (29) from the mains.
5. Pull the battery (4) out of the bat-
tery charger (29).
