How to sew pin tucks
• Sew decorative pin
tucks on the fabric
before cutting out
garment.
• Remove the left needle
and adjust machine for
a narrow 3-thread
overlock stitch
Note: The rolled hem stitch
can also be used for this
technique
Place the movable

upper knife in the
nonworking position
• Mark the fabric with
the desired number of
pin tucks using a water-
soluble fabric marker
• Fold the fabric with the
wrong sides together
and sew
Press the pin tucks in

the same direction
