Correction fac- The desired amount of shielding gas is specified in the setup menu of the welding
tor for shielding machine. Depending on the filler metal, the welding machine adjusts the gas vo-
gases used lume measurement to the shielding gas. For non-preprogrammed shielding gases,
there are correction factors for the control adjustment. This allows the desired
amount of shielding gas to be precisely adhered to for all material types available
for selection.
