Mounting
Steps
1. Dril four Ø 6.0 mm holes in the wal or ceiling, then insert four plastic anchor plugs into the holes with a
hammer.
2. Attach the mounting bracket to the surface of the wall or ceiling with three screws and mount the alarm
into the bracket by pushing them together and twisting the unit clockwise.
3. Testthe unit by using the Test/SiIence button. Ensurethe unit sounds in an a arm pattern.

Alarm
Mode
For devices
connected
to the
base
l. When an alarm is triggered, an in app message will appear and an alarm push notification will be sent to
your smartphone.
2. When one alarm is triggered, al devices connected to the system and the base station will sound an alarm
simultaneous y.
3. The base station will automatical y mute after 10 minutes of continuous alarm. After the base station stops
the alarm, al devices in the interconnected system wil still a arm.
4 In the case that the base station powers off and is disconnected from the network, al devices are sti
interconnected, so when one alarm is triggered, al wil go off.
5. The volume level of the base station is adjustable. The a arms and base station can be remotely muted
through the app. An app push notification will be sent to your phone when the smoke drops below the
alarm threshold.
1. If the Initiating
Unit Is Triggered
by Smoke:
When one XP02S MR smoke alarm is triggered in the interconnected network, the unit will beep 3 times
every 4 seconds, paired with LEDflashing red Any other units will follow suit
seconds, paired with the LEDflashing red and green in succession.When the smoke concentration eve
drops below the alarm threshold, the alarm wil cease.
2. If the Initiating
Unit Is Triggered
by CO:
When one CO alarm is triggered in the interconnected network, the unit will beep 4 times every 5.8 seconds,
paired with the LEDflashing red Any other units will fol ow suit—they wi beep 4 times every 5.8 seconds,
paired with the LEDthat flashes red 4 times first, followed by the LEDthat flashes green once with every
beep. When the CO concentration evel drops below the a arm threshold, the alarm wil cease.

NOTES
1. Whenone unit is triggered,other interconnected units will sound.Ifthe smokealarm and COalarm are triggered in
thenetwork at thesametime, the alarm signal of the smokealarm will takepriority over that of theCOalarm.
2. Ifthe initiating alarm is a voicealarm with location support (suchasXP02S-MR), the other interconnectedvoice
alarms with location support will alsoprovide location information. However,if theinitiating alarm is without
location support, theother interconnectedvoicealarms with location support (suchasXP02S-WR) w ill relay the
voicealert without specifying thelocation.
3. Thisalarm hasa relayfunction that extendsthe wirelessinterconnectednetwork for wide detection coverage.
