Slacken screws (1) and lift the sliding block with the sensor from the holding arm (3).
Slacken the hexagon nuts (2).
Unscrew the sliding block from the sensor, so that the distance between the sliding
surface of the sliding block and the surface of the sensor is 2mm.
Screw the new sliding block from the sensor, so that the distance between the
sliding surface of the sliding block and the surface of the sensor is 2mm.
Position the sliding block with the sensor on the holding arm and tighten the screws.
NOTE! Check the following setting
at every 25th wire spool change.
Readjust or replace the sliding
block and sensor as well.
1.
Lift the WireEnd Control up from the
wire spool and lock.
2.
Measure the distance between the
sliding surface of the sliding block (5)
and the surface of the induction
sensor (4) using a gauge. If the
distance is less than 0.5 mm, set the
sliding block and sensor.
3.
Slacken the locking device and check
that the sliding block is sitting close
on the welding wire.
NOTE! Replace the sliding block if
it is no longer possible to set to
the degree described in the
following.
1.
Slacken screws (1) and lift the sliding
block from the holding arm (3) with
the sensor.
2.
Slacken the hexagon nut (2)
3.
Unscrew the sliding block from the
sensor, so that the distance between
the sliding surface of the sliding block
and the surface of the sensor is 2mm.
IMPORTANT! Take care that the cable is
not twisted when screwing on or unscrew-
ing.
4.
Position the sliding block with the
sensor on the holding arm and tighten
the screws.
