4.9 Diode Measurement
Warning
Electric shock hazard.
When measuring diode, determine that the power supply is
disconnected and the capacitor in the circuit is completely
discharged.
1) Insert black test lead banana plug to

3) Connect the red test lead probe to diode anode and
connect the black test lead probe to diode cathode of

4) Read the result on the LCD.
Note:
1) What the meter shows is approximation of diode forward
voltage drop.
2) If the test lead probe is reverse connected or the diode is
open, the LCD will show "OL"
4.10 Circuit Continuity Measurement
Warning
Electric shock hazard.
When measuring circuit continuity, determine that the
power supply is disconnected and the capacitor in the
circuit is completely discharged.
1) Insert black test lead banana plug to
test lead banana plug to

3) Press key to switch to
state.
4) Connect the test lead probe to the both ends of circuit.
5) If the resistance of circuit to be measured is less than
20Ω, the meter's built-in buzzer will sound.
6) Read the circuit resistance value on the LCD.
