9.1
Changing the application tip
1.
The application tip must remain on the metering valve at all times.
2.
When changing the tip, hold the applicator head with the tip facing up, pull the tip
off and replace with a new tip.
3.
The new tip should then be filled by the transmission of short pulses to the unit.
9.2
Cleaning the spray head
1.
After longer pauses or operating times, it may be necessary to clean the spray head
from adhering product. This should be done by hand using a cloth and suitable
cleaning agent.
9.3
Refilling the metering medium
To prevent any malfunctions as a result of air bubbles in the ducting system, the
MULTILINE applicator unit is fitted with an empty signal device and a reserve signal.
When the critical minimum quantity in the pressure tank has been reached, a signal is
displayed, indicating that a refilling of the metering medium is necessary.

To do this, use the pressure control valve to vent the pressure tank, screw off the
cover and insert the new bottle, or refill the plastic insert.
2.
When putting on the cover make sure that the toroidal sealing ring is seated neatly in
the groove provided.
9.4
Thickening the metering medium
1.
Should the metering medium start to thicken, even though the unit is being used
properly, the applicator head is to be freed from polymerised glue by continuously
applying and increasing the static pressure.
CAUTION!
Do not remove the applicator head under any circumstances.
