WARNING – Danger of Fire!
■ Do not charge up the device in the
vicinity of highly flammable materials
(curtains, textiles, etc.).
■ Do not cover the device during operation
or charging in order to prevent it from
catching fire. Do not insert anything into
the ventilation openings of the device
and make sure that they do not become
clogged.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to
Material and Property
■ Charge and store the device only in
closed rooms.
■ Use only original accessories from the
manufacturer in order to guarantee that
there is no interference that may prevent
the device from working and to avoid
possible damage.
■ Make sure that the charger cable is not
squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges
and does not come into contact with
hot surfaces.
■ Protect the device from: impacts,
sub-zero temperatures, temperature
fluctuations and persistent moisture.
■ Do not place heavy objects on the
device or the accessories.
CHARGING UP THE
BATTERY
Please Note!
■ Make sure that the charger cable does
not present a trip hazard.
■ Do not charge on a computer because
the high charging current could damage
the computer.
■ Charge up the battery fully before
you first use the device in order to
achieve the maximum charging ca-
pacity. If the battery is fully discharged
during use, it must be fully charged up
again before it is next used.
■ A USB mains adapter (5 V and ≥ 2000 mA)
is also required for charging at the plug
socket. This is not supplied with the
device.
Only connect the mains adapter to a
plug socket that is properly installed
and matches its technical data. The plug
socket must be readily accessible after
connection so that the connection to
the mains can quickly be isolated.
■ Disconnect the device from the power
source if a fault occurs during charging
or before a thunderstorm.
If the device cannot be switched on, the
battery is too weak and needs charging,
possibly with a more powerful power
supply:
1. First plug the charger cable (4) into the
charging socket (12) and then connect it
to a power source with a USB interface
(preferably via a USB mains adapter to
the plug socket).
The charging process begins and the
battery control lamps
As soon as all three control lamps
are constantly lit, the battery is fully
charged.
2. Disconnect the charger cable from the
power source and then from the charg-
ing socket.
