Operation
Make sure the thermo couple has been removed before changing to another function
measurement.
To avoid electric shook, be sure the capacitor-measuring adapter has been removed
before changing to another function measurement.
When checking in – circuit resistance, be sure the circuit under test has all power
removed and that all capacitors have been discharged fully.
Make sure before each voltage measurement the device is not set to ampere range or
vice versa.
Before changing the measuring range remove the test leads from the object to be
measured.
Do not turn the rotary function switch when the multimeter is connected to live
circuit.
When connecting the C-connector or BNC adapter, be sure to observe the correct
polarity.
Continuity test is only functional for resistance of 80Ω or below.
Never use the meter unless the back cover is in place and fastened fully.
Fundamental operation
•
Press and hold "HOLD RUN" for 2 seconds to activate the backlight.
•
Press "MENU" to display main menu of respective function.
•
Press "DMM/SCOPE" to switch between Digital storage oscilloscope (DSO) and Digital multimeter
(DMM).
•
Press "HOLD RUN" to pause/ resume the measurement.
Digital storage oscilloscope (DSO)
Turn the rotary function switch from the OFF position into any other position. Connect black test lead (-)
to COM terminal and red test lead (+) to SCOPE terminal. If BNC connection is needed, insert a BNC
adapter to the COM terminal and SCOPE terminal while observing the correct polarity.
