ihe adjustment control should simply be turned in the other
direction. When the control is in the neutral setting, the
control function has no effect.
Combi Switch: In order to be able to influence the rudder at
the same time as you operate the aileron, plug the leads of
the control functions onto the corresponding socket pins on
the mini option, plug the leads from the mini option into the
STICK sockets on the transmitter electronics board. Connect
the additional mixer switch to the corresponding socket, do
not switch on the main switch. Turn the adjustment contro!
in one direction. If, upon operating one function, there is no
deflection of the other function, then the additional switch
should be switched ON. The level of influence can now be
set, using the adjustment control. If the wrong function is
influenced (the rudder influences the aileron), then the plugs
of the control functions must be changed over on the mini
option. If the direction of influence
is wrong, then the
corresponding contro! should be rotated in the other direction.
Y-iead: in order to have two servo outputs on the receiver
for one control channel, simply plug the lead of the required
control function onto one of the pin sockeis on the mini
option. Both leads from the mini option are then plugged into
the free STICK socket and a tree EXT socket. On the
transmitter,
the
servos
should
be
installed
at the
corresponding transmitter outputs.
Switch on the mini option's main switch and turn the
adjustment conirol in one direction. Ifthe function runsin the
wrong direction, rotate the corresponding plug atthe STICK
or EXT. socket through 180°. If the direction of influence is
wrong, turn the adjusiment conirol in the other direction.
Multiswitch/Multiprop Module
By means of these programmes,
one function can be
divided into 8 proportional or switch functions. A maximum
of 2 multiprop or 3 multiswitch modules can be installed in
the transmitier at any one time (they can, of course, be
mixed). This makes the transmitter ideal for all model ship
applications, or in any other areas which demand a large
number of functions.
installation: The blocks must be installed in the transmitter
in such a way that the 3-pin socket on the soldered side of
the multi module faces the inside of the transmitter (not
towards the outer edge of the transmitter case). The third
block is installed in option well 3, under the battery box,
facing the direction shown. Before installation, remove F-14
protective film from the front plate of the transmitter and
apply new protective film in which holes have been made.
To be able to install a MULTI-switch/prop module in the
F-14 transmitter, the MULTI-adapter, Order No. F 1561
must also be installed in the transmitter.
A maximum of 3
MULTI-swiich/prop modules can be connected to this
MULTI-adapter.
The MULTI-switch/prop
modules do
not work in the F-14 without the MULT!-adapter.
Installation
and
connection
of
MULTI-adapter
Using the enclosed
screws,
install and secure
ihe
MULTI-adapter in its correct place (under the battery
holder). The white MULTI-adapter plug with 4-thickness
lead should be pushed into ihe MULTI-OP socket on the
iransmiiter electronics board. Push ihe black plugs with
single-thickness leads into the EXT. or STICK sockeis
on the transmitter electronics board. lf only one MULTI-
module is used, then only the corresponding MULTI-
adapter plug need be pushed into one of the EXT. or
STICK sockets on the electronics board.

14. Repair Service
For optimum results, please take the following steps prior to
requesting repairs:
19
Charge batieries prior to dispatching for repair.
Send only the radio contro! set, not the entire model.
Any extensions fitted (e.g. servo plugs) will be restored
to their original condition against payment.
Make sure that all parts are securely packed - the
original packing is best.
A brief, but precise description of defects will help us to
locate the fault more quickly, thus saving time and
money.
6. Please enclose alist of contents in the package to assist
us in ensuring that everything has been received.

15. Crown Gear Servo Lever
The crown gear servo lever facilitates mechanical adjustment
of the neutral servo position. Setting neutral position:
Remove retaining screw of driving lever, lift off lever, refitin
required neutral position and re-tighten screw. Effect: For
the smallest possible adjustment (3.6°) to the RIGHT, ARM
2 of the 4-armed servo lever must be placed on the closest
possible position of base line so that ARM 3 is adjusted by
7.2' and ARM
4 by 10.8°. For the smallest possible
adjustmentto the LEFT (3.6°), ARM 4 must be placed on the
next position of base line.
Subject te correction, changes in supply and technical
specification.
