Set the direction of
rotation
Youcanselectthedirectionofrotation
with the direction switch (clockwise and
anticlockwise direction) and secure the
device against accidental start up.
The arrow on the direction switch indicates
the working direction.
1. Wait for the device to shut-down.
2. Push the direction switch (6) into the
desired position:
Clockwise direction:
To drill and screw in screws. Press the
direction switch to the left with the ar-
row pointing forwards
Counter-clockwise direction:
To unscrew screws. Press the direction
switch to the right with the arrow poin-
ting backwards
3. Switch lock: Bring direction switch to
neutral position.
The direction changed may only be
performed in standstill mode.
Torque setting
Youcanpresetthemaximumtorquebyro-
tating the torque adjustment ring (3).
25 torque levels are provided.
1. Turn the adjusting ring (3) to select the
desired torque:
Step 1 -->
lowest torque,
Step 25 -->
highest torque.
2. Start with a lower torque step and in-
crease according to requirement.
Torque adjustment should only be
performed in standstill mode.

Reaching the preset torque limit pro-
duces a noticeable rasping sound.
This sound is caused by the slip clutch.
Switching the slip clutch on/
off
The slip clutch may only be switched on/
off when at a standstill.
To use the screw operating mode, switch
the slip clutch on.

Impact drilling
Set the slip clutch selector switch (4) to

1. Rotate the keyless chuck (2) counter-
clockwise, until the drill chuck aper-
ture (1)islargeenoughtoaccommo-
date the tool.
2. Push the tool as far as possible into the
keyless chuck (2).
3. Rotate the chuck clockwise to clamp
thetoolfirmly.
4. To remove the tool again, rotate the
keyless chuck (2) and pull out the tool.
At the centre of the bottom rear of
thehandgrip(7)youwillfinda
magnetic bit holder (8) where you
can secure a bit you don't currently
need.
