General
4. General
The commeo Receive Up/Down converts radio signals into control
signals.
4.1. Intended use
The commeo Receive Up/Down may only be used for actuating roll-
er shutter, awning and blind systems.
• Radio systems must not be operated in areas with an increased
risk of interference (e.g. hospitals, airports).
• The remote control is only permitted for devices and systems that
do not present a danger to persons, animals or object in the event
of a functional fault in the receiver or where this risk is secured
against by means of other safety mechanisms.
• The operator is not protected against interference from other
radio systems and end devices (e.g. radio systems that are normal-
ly operated in the same frequency).
4.2. SELVE-commeo radio
commeo is a bidirectional radio system that allows data to be stored
in both the transmitter and the receiver. All SELVE-commeo trans-
mitters can be programmed in the drives. Up to 16 transmitters can
be taught in a single receiver. Observe the operating instructions for
the transmitter.
The receivers can be set for different applications using the TYPE
button or in CONFIGURATION mode. The commeo Receive Up/
Down is set by default to "Awning". The runtime for the blind has to
be set before the commeo receiver can be operated. By default a
runtime is not set. This triggers an error message in operating
mode.
Note: Ensure that the control is not installed and operated close to
any metallic surfaces or magnetic fields. Metallic surfaces or met-
al-coated glass panes within the transmission path can significantly
reduce the range.
Radio systems that transmit on the same frequency can interfere
with reception.
Please note that the range of the radio signal is limited by legal pro-
visions and structural conditions.
