8.3.3 "TE present" Programming
It is possible to program (with SW1 DIP TE L/H) the value of the voltage applied
at the TE terminal to define the armed status of previously described function:
• DIP TE L/H on OFF: (Factory programming → → → → → VdS request)
- The TE is present when a voltage of between 0 V— and 1.5 V— is present
at the detector's TE terminal.
- The TE is not present when a voltage of between 3.5 V— and 12 V— (posi-
tive supply) is present at the detector's TC terminal, or when the terminal is
not connected.
• DIP TE L/H on ON
- The TE is present when a voltage of between 3.5 V— and 12 V— (positive
supply) is present at the detector's TE terminal.
- The TE is not present when a voltage of between 0 V— and 1.5 V— is
present at the detector's TC terminal, or when the terminal is not connected.
8.4 SELECTING THE AND/OR FUNCTION
The AND/OR DIP status of SW1 allows the definition of the sensor functional
status as follows:
AND/OR DIP to OFF
Function on AND (VdS authorisation, class C)
General alarm message with a present time value
- both sectors enter alarm status at least once (in the case of the 1x-pulse
meter of the infrared zone).
- at least once for the microwave zone and at least twice for the infrared zone
(with 2x-pulse meter of the infrared zone).
AND/OR DIP to ON
Function on OR (VdS authorisation invalid, class C)
General alarm message under the following conditions:
- when the microwave zone enters alarm status at least once
- when the infrared zone enters alarm status at least once (in the case of the
1x-pulse meter of the infrared zone, and at least twice within the preset value
range (in the case of the 2x-pulse meter).

range (in the case of the 2x-pulse meter).
8.5 MASKED ALARM MEMORY
To use the alarm memory function it is indispensable to use TC. In case of
detection (with system armed) the memory visualization (with general ALARM
led fixed on, regardless of the led enabling or not) will take place only upon system
deactivation (system disarmed).
To reset the alarm memory the system must be reactived. Via DIP MEM the
alarm memory function can be enabled/disabled.
DIP MEM in OFF:
Memory enabled (VdS request)
DIP MEM in ON:
Memory disabled
8.6 DELAY ADJUSTMENT
(microwave section)
By programming DIP MW-D (SW1 - microwave delay) it is possible to vary the
delay in the microwave zone detection capability only if the detector is
programmed for OR operation (DIP AND-OR of SW1 in ON position).
DIP MW-D in OFF:
Minimum delay
DIP MW-D in ON:
Maximum delay
8.7 DUAL EDGE SIGNAL DETECTION
(Infrared section)
The detector checkes the number of pulse and the shape (polarity) of the signal
detected: this check enables the detector to distinguish an actual alarm signal
from a simple noise. The detection mode may be selected with DIP S/D.
DIP S/D in OFF: SINGLE EDGE
A single detection (with positive or negative polarity) is sufficient to generate an
alarm.
DIP S/D in ON: DUAL EDGE
Two detection (of opposite polarity) are necessary to generate an alarm.
