8.0 DETECTOR PROGRAMMING
8.1 FIRST START-UP
When connecting to the electricity supply for the first time the sensor enters the
initialising phase, which is distinguished by the fact that the three signalling leds
SW2
flash for a specific period of time (about 64 seconds) and then remain lit for a
given period of time (about 16 seconds). During this time, the sensor is
deactivated. When the leds go out the sensor is ready for surveillance.
When the two leds are constantly lit, the sensor detects not only the environmental
parameters, but also the antimasking function parameters: for this process to
operate correctly, it is necessary to maintain a minimum distance of 1 metre and
guarantee that the masking is used properly. When this procedure is complete,
the sensor issues an antimasking message which is reset after the two detection
Default:
sectors have been checked.
DIP1...8 = OFF
8.2 TC INPUT
TC is a command generated by the antintrusion unit to inform the detector of the
system status (armed or disarmed).
• When present (system disarmed), the TC command allows to:
- visualize the masked alarm memory (if enabled)
- visualize the alarm events (if the operation is enabled)
- the detector relay may be locked with subsequent lower wear
• When not present (system armed) the alarm events of every single section
(microwave or infrared) or general cannot be visualized although the three
leds have been enabled to on.
8.2.1 "TC present" Programming
It is possible to program (with SW1 DIP TC H/L) the value of the voltage to be
applied to the TC terminal to define system status:
