The operating panel "Standard" is provided with:

NOTE!
Depending on the material type selected (and the associated shielding gas) the
parameter "GAS" is adjustable within different ranges. The adjusting ranges of
the most usual shielding gases are detailed in the following table "Adjusting
ranges for the most usual shielding gases"

Press the button(s) "material type" (1) to select the filler material for which
the shielding gas should be changed.
Keep the button "store" (2) pressed and press the button "check gas" (3). The
first parameter is shown (e.g. „GPr")
The parameter which has been selected during a previous entry is indicated
first.
Select parameter "GAS" by means of button(s) "material type" (1)
Set parameter "GAS" by means of button(s) "operating mode" (6)
Select the setup-parameter "GAS" by means of the button(s) "process" (4)
GAS.... Gasflow ... setpoint for gas flow ... OFF / 5.0 l/min
- maximum (e.g. 30 l/min)
- factory setting: 15 l/min
The setting "OFF" is only required if welding wires are used, which are pro-
cessed without shielding gas.
When switching the set-up parameter 2nd "SEt" to "US", the gas flow is
shown in "cubic feet per hour" (cuftph).
Change the parameter value "GAS" by means of the "adjusting wheel" (5)
