Clamp-on strain transducer

You can use accessory kits DD1/ZA and DD 1/ZV11 to make the basic unit
into a clamp-on strain transducer. This clamp-on strain transducer can be
attached to round or flat specimens made of metal or plastic and the clamping
force of the measuring instrument on the specimen can be finely adjusted via
the mounting bracket.

10.1 Accessory kits DD1/ZA and DD1/Z11

Accessory kit DD1/ZV11 includes the extension pieces and fastening screws
needed in conjunction with accessory kit DD1/ZA in order to fit out the DD1 as
a clamp-on strain transducer. The extension pieces included in accessory kit
DD1/ZV11 are made of ferrite steel with a thermal expansion coefficient

a = 11 x 10 / °C.
