Consumables

The use of unsuitable consumables can affect the functionality and safety of
the product and have the following consequences:
— Risk of injury to persons
— Damage to the product
— Malfunctions of the product
— Failure of the product
Only use consumables and spare parts that have been approved by

Sartorius for this product.
2.5

Magnetic Forces

The magnets for the tube interface block are attached to the holder of the
product. Magnets can interfere with pacemakers or other medical implants.
People with pacemakers or other medical implants can be affected.
Persons with pacemakers or other medical implants must maintain a

safety distance of at least 0.1 m from the product.
Identify the danger of magnetic forces at the installation site.

Personal Protective Equipment

Personal protective equipment protects against risks arising from the
product. If the personal protective equipment is missing or is unsuitable for
the work processes on the product, persons may be injured.
The following personal protective equipment must be worn:
— Safety glasses
— Safety gloves
— Safety clothing
2.7

Leakage of Filters

Undoing the compression fittings on the product may result in a leak which
could lead to injuries such as minor chemical contact injuries or injuries from
slips or falls resulting from a wet or slippery surface.
Do not undo the compression fittings at any time.

Potential Compromise of Gas Tightness

Deleting or modifying standard gas tightness and filter gas tightness phases
from the Ambr Crossflow software may compromise system safety and re-

sult in leaks.
Do not delete or modify these phases in the standard recipe template.
