Disposal

8.1

Information on Decontamination

The product does not contain any hazardous materials that would
necessitate special disposal measures.
The cultures and fluids (e.g. acids, bases) used during the processes are
potentially hazardous materials that could cause biological or chemical
hazards.
If the product has come into contact with hazardous substances, measures
must be carried out to properly decontaminate and declare such products.
The operator is responsible for adhering to local legislation on the proper
declaration of transportation and disposal and the proper disposal of the
product.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to contaminated equipment!
Products contaminated with hazardous materials (NBC contamination) will
not be accepted by Sartorius for repair or disposal.
8.2

Disposing of the Product

8.2.1

Information on Disposal

The product and accessories must be disposed of properly by disposal
facilities.
The consumables are designed and intended for single-use (with the excep-
tion of the Hollow Fiber TFF Modules | Re-use Line).
8.2.2 Disposal
Requirements
The product has been decontaminated.
Procedure
Dispose of the product. Follow the disposal instructions on our website

Dispose of the packaging in accordance with local government

regulations.
Dispose of the consumables in accordance with local government

regulations.
