If the filter clamps are horizontally positioned (for flat sheet filters), and

you switch to hollow fiber filters, unscrew the thumb screws on each side
of the filter clamps at the top and bottom of the holder.
Turn the filter clamps 90° and reinsert them back in the holder before
t
tightening the thumb screws to secure them in place.
Ensure the bottom clamp is at the top of its slot.

The position of the top clamp is adjusted depending on which filter is fit-
y
ted.
Once the filter clamps are placed in the desired orientation on the hold-
t
er, hook the holder onto the adapter.
Optional: Tilt the holder slightly to ensure the 2 prongs (1) at the bottom
t
fit either side of the handle of the filter holder.
When using a flat sheet filter, place the filter in the holder.
t
Adjust the lower clamp as needed.
t
Ensure the barcode (1) is on the opposite side of the tube interface block
t
for future scanning.
