CLEANING THE MOTOR BASE

CAUTION: Do not clean the motor base or power cord in an automatic dishwasher.
To not drip or spill any liquids on or in the motor base.
6. Wipe the motor base and power cord with a slightly damp cloth. Then wipe dry.
Thereafter, leave the motor base and power cord dry naturally for approx. 30
minutes, where they are out of reach of young children .

CLEANING THE REMOVABLE PARTS OF THE APPLIANCE

WARNING: Pay special attention when cleaning the filter basket as the blades
at the bottom of the filter basket may cause injury. Do not touch the blades with your
hands.
TIP: You may clean the removable parts of the appliance in an automatic dish-
washer. If possible, use the upper rack.
7. Wipe the pusher with a clean soft cloth damped with dishwater. Then rinse the
pusher under cold tap water.
8. Clean the pulp container and its cover and the juice jug and its lid in hot dish-
water using a soft dishcloth or nylon brush. For carefully cleaning the juice outlet
on the pulp container you may use a soft bottle brush. Thereafter rinse all parts
with clear water.
9. It is best to clean the filter basket using the provided brush. Ensure not to touch
the knives of the filter basket with your fingers to avoid injuries. Be careful not to
damage the sieve. After cleaning, rinse the filter basket thoroughly.
Note:
Dried-on residues are easily removed after soaking the affected parts in lukewarm
dishwater for 10 minutes.
10. After cleaning, dry all parts and leave the parts dry naturally for at least half an
hour where they are out of reach of young children.
Note:
It is good advice to assemble the appliance after cleaning (see: 'Assembling the
Appliance'). This way you avoid injuries due to the blades at the bottom of the fil-
ter basket, and the parts cannot get lost. Additionally, the appliance is ready for
use for your next juicing action.
