PROBLEM
No water flow
Pump and motor noisy
Water leakage from shaft of the pump
(rotating joint between the pump and the
motor)
The motor does not start

PROBABLE CAUSE
No current
Pump off
Motor not connected
Main switch turned off
Residual current operated circuit breaker
(RCCB) has tripped
Faulty pump or motor
Filtering pump not working (too high wa-
ter temperature, flow switch and/or faulty
temperature probe).
Filters clogged
Water leakage on suction
Low water level
Motor bearings worn or faulty
The impeller rubs against the pump body
Solid dirty in the pump
Pump mechanical seal worn or defective
No power
Main switch has tripped
Voltage too low
Circuit breaker has tripped
Incorrect or faulty connections
Shaft and impeller blocked
Motor windings burnt
Faulty contact on motor start-up

SOLUTION
Turn main switches ON
Press the button
Check the motor connection
Turn on the switch
Reset the RCCB

the over heating during the filtering cycles
and/or the section relative to the alarm sig-
nalling.
Clean the filters
Find and repair leaks
Add water up to the normal level
