7 Maintenance
Dosing pumps may only be maintained by trained and authorised persons.
Before any adjustment, maintenance work, repair work or exchange of parts, the device must
CAUTION
be disconnected from all sources of power if opening of the device is necessary.
Do not open the pump head since there is a risk of injury from the tensioned spring.
NOTE
Maintenance interval at least once every 3 months
We recommend checking:
• that the connection on the suction and pressure line is not leaking
• the suction and pressure valve (see chapter 7.1) is free of dirt and well sealed.
• for correct dosing
• the dosing head screws (see chapter 6, Fig. 6.1) (firm seating, 4 Nm)
7.1 Replacing suction / pressure valves
 Remove suction and pressure valve using an open spanner (SW 22)
 Mount all O-rings.
 Screw in new suction and pressure valve in the correct position (see chapter 5.5)
(tightening torque 2-3 Nm).
