9. Winter preparation
It is important to prepare the heat pump when it is not in operation, before the air temperature falls
below 0 °C. Water in the system that freezes into ice will damage the titanium heat exchanger. If
this happens, your warranty will be voided.
Here's how to ensure that your heat pump is ready for winter:
• Turn off the power.
• Disconnect all water supply to and from the heat pump.
• Make sure to gently tilt the heat pump towards the side where the drain is located. This ensures
that it is completely emptied of water.
• Cover with the provided cover. This protects against weather, wind, and pests. Ensure that the
cover is properly attached and covers the entire heat pump.
If possible, it is recommended to store the heat pump indoors during the winter period. This pro-
vides additional protection against the elements and can contribute to a longer product life. If indoor
storage is not possible, place the heat pump in a dry, sheltered outdoor location, away from direct
exposure to extreme weather conditions.
10. Troubleshooting
Error code
In case of heat pump malfunction, an error code will show on the display.
Select the error code menu and press the settings button to enter and see
the error description. See an example on the right.
