6. Put Pyramid Cap (2) and Plastic Washer (1b) onto Pyramid (3) and
secure them with Pyramid Bolt (1) (make sure that O-Ring on Bolt is
in place).
7. Tighten the Bolt (1).
Note: Be sure to tighten (1-2 Nm) so that resin will not leak in
between components.
8. Apply clay into hexagon hole (A) on bolt and groove (D) on Dummy
Screw.
9. Tie lay-up material around Lock Body (4b) and Silicone Fill (4a) and
into groove (C) on Pyramid and groove (B) on Delrin Cap.
Warning: Tie at least two layers of fibers in groove (B) on Delrin Cap.
10. Apply outer PVA bag and pour resin.
11. When curing has finished, grind down to Pyramid Bolt (1) and Dummy
Screw (5) and remove.
12. Remove Pyramid Cap (2).
Warning: Do not grind material away from distal end of socket (E) since
that reduces strength of connection between socket and pyramid.
13. Remove socket from plaster cast.
14. Insert and tighten Clutch Mechanism (9) to 15 Nm.
Warning: Make sure to tighten the Clutch Mechanism to 15 Nm.
Note: Push Button (10) may be shortened by cutting it with hacksaw.
Attachment Pin:
Apply Loctite 410/411 onto threads (F) on Attachment Pin (11) and screw it
into Locking Liner. Torque Attachment Pin to 4 Nm. Put Protector Cap on
Pin before donning liner to prevent damage. Remove Cap before donning
socket. Also available:
• L-292003 Attachment Pin clutch, short w/cap.
• L-292005 Attachment Pin clutch, long w/cap.
Caution: Use attachment pins for Icelock 200 series only.
T-wrench supplied is specially designed to wind Push Button (10) on
Clutch Mechanism (9) when donning socket.
Caution: Use of any other tool may result in over tightening.
USAGE
Cleaning and care
Clean with a damp cloth and a mild soap. Dry with a cloth after cleaning.
Environmental Conditions
See which environmental conditions apply to the device in Table 1.
A Weatherproof device can be used in a wet or humid environment and
can tolerate being splashed by fresh water (e.g., rain), no submersion is
allowed.
No contact with salt water or chlorinated water is allowed.
Dry with a cloth after contact with fresh water or humidity.
Clean with fresh water in case of accidental exposure to other liquids,
chemicals, sand, dust, or dirt and dry with a cloth.
A Waterproof device can be used in a wet or humid environment and
submerged in up to 3-meter-deep water for a maximum of 1 hour.
It can tolerate contact with: Salt water, chlorinated water, perspiration,
urine, and mild soaps.
It can also tolerate occasional exposure to sand, dust, and dirt.
Continuous exposure is not allowed.
Dry with a cloth after contact with fresh water or humidity.
Clean with fresh water after exposure to other liquids, chemicals, sand,
dust, or dirt and dry with a cloth.
