Convenience functions

By means of the grey button of the hand transmitter, additional functions
can be controlled as e.g. locking of electric window lift and/or sun roof,
switching-on of auxiliary heating, switching-on of full beam or unlocking
of boot or of fuel cap.
Hereto use joint P1.4 (green/red cable) and connect a working current
relay to it, which will then trigger the corresponding consumer. Triggering
will be done over a period of 10 or 25 seconds, according to the program
adjustment (see Programming).
Connection of additional options
The MS-650 possesses an additional four-pole joint for connecting
additional sensors as e.g. inclination sensor.
The system offers the possibility to connect an additional ignition-break
relay. The break relay (with locking diode) is connected with joint 85 to
joint P3.2 (brown/white cable) and with joint 86 to +12V. The working
contacts/relay joint (30/87a) can e.g. be connected to the fuel injection
pump or to the solenoid valve in order to avoid a start of the vehicle's
engine when there is an activated alarm system. The relay is controlled
only with activated alarm system.
Connecting a pager (radio-controlled alarm indicator). A pager can be
connected to the siren output P3.11 (brown cable). In the case of an
alarm, this output is supplied with +12V.
There is an optional PI-movement sensor available (WAECO Art. No.:
MS-650 PIR).

Connecting an electronic siren

Instead of connecting the vehicle's horn to the alarm system, a siren unit
(e.g. Art.-no. ASS-01) can be used. The relay is not necessary for operat-
ing the siren. The siren can be installed in the engine compartment.
Choose an installation place that does not expose the siren unit to
splashing water and allow for sufficient distance to the exhaust or exhaust
pipes.
Join the minus cable of the siren to the minus pole of the battery. The
plus cable of the siren has to be connected to the brown cable.
