5.1. Safety instructions for operation

Failure to observe the requirements for safe use of the product can result in damage to property or in serious injury.

Carelessness around the chassis stabilisers may result in injuries caused by tripping or collision.

There is a risk of falling if the product is used improperly. This may result in damage to property, severe injury and
even death.

On the platform, a height clearance of 2,300 mm must be ensured from any obstacles at the place of use.
A clearance of at least 100 mm must be ensured between the handrail/guardrail and any obstacles at the
place of use.
When setting the platform height, make sure that the distances are ideal for safe and ergonomic working.
Make sure that no obstacles, such as parts of the machine or vehicle being serviced, protrude into the work
space of the work platform.
Before moving the product, always ensure that there are no loose tools or materials lying on the platform.
If the product is used for access to other work areas on the machines or vehicles being serviced, the height
difference between the platform and work area must not exceed 250 mm.
Pay attention to the product's overall width when using it.
Never climb onto the guardrails or jump on the surfaces.
Always use the access stairs/ladder for access. Climb slowly and without rushing.
When using the fixed ladder, do not climb higher than the uppermost diagonal strut.
When climbing up and down stairs that have an inclination greater than 45°, always face the stairs.
Carry loads in such a way that you have one hand free to hold on to the railing.
The load you are carrying must not obscure your view of the steps.
Remove ice, snow and other slippery substances (oil, grease etc.) from the stepping surfaces and
handrail/guardrail before using the product.
Never move the product while there are people, material or tools on it.
If a swing door or pole barrier is fitted, always keep it closed when working on the product. Never block the
automatic locking device.
When the product is in its working or parking position, apply the brakes to prevent it from rolling away
accidentally.
