Severe injury and even death may occur when rescuing persons.

If the gap between the platform and the machine or vehicle being serviced is greater than
additional fall-prevention equipment (e.g. detachable guardrails and attachment points for PPE attachment
systems) must be used.
If the product is used without the manufacturer's fall protection, fall protection equipment must be
provided on site.
All handrails/guardrails must be fitted and secured in place before the product is used.
Stairs that have an angle of inclination greater than 45° must always have two handrails fitted.
Persons standing under the platform must always wear a protective helmet.
When using the product in buildings open to the passage of wind, next to unclad buildings or at building
corners, observe wind speeds and, if necessary, secure the product to prevent it from toppling over.
In windy conditions or if a storm is imminent (wind strength 6 on the Beaufort scale / 45 km/h), evacuate the
product, move it to a wind-sheltered position with the help of several other persons and take appropriate
measures to secure it against toppling over (e.g. by anchoring it).
After completing work, move the product to a place sheltered from wind and secure it against toppling.
Never attach advertising placards or products that could increase the wind load.
In accordance with the operator's safety concept and the applicable regulations, the operator must ensure
that it is possible to evacuate persons in an emergency (rescue of an unconscious person).
The installed access steps and stairs can be used for the purpose of evacuating persons from the product.
In an emergency, the platform can be lowered using the rope winch.
Regular training must be provided for the personnel.
