The guardrails in the platform area of the product being serviced (machine, bus or other commercial vehicle)
may be removed only if the gap between the platform and the product being serviced is less than 120 mm
wide.
Height adjustment: using a rope winch with a height of lift of 2500 mm
Possible operating stations: crank operation at the side of the work platform; detachable guardrails; folding
auxiliary platform; access ladder
1.4. Time limits
The service life of the product is 10 years, provided that all the maintenance cycles specified in the operating
instructions are observed and the specified replacement parts and wear parts are used.
The product could be used over a longer period of time or even permanently, however.
1.5. Further limits
The product may be operated at ambient temperatures between +5°C and +40°C.
The product must be moved, operated and stored on sufficiently load-bearing and non-slip floors/ground. The
floor/ground inclination must not exceed 1.5% or, with spindle adjustment, 3%.
The product is not suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
The product does not cause any noise emissions (the A-weighted emission sound pressure level is less than
70 dB(A)).
Maximum load:
guardrail: 300 N/m; platform: 2 persons or 300 kg including tools; stairs and ladder: 150 kg including tools

1.7. Notes for the operator
The operator must ensure that:
all required documents are always available at the place of assembly and use
the regional and national regulations governing work safety, accident prevention and working on/with work
platforms and ladders are observed
a risk assessment according to the respective safety regulations in the country of use has been carried out
the ergonomic working heights from 500-1700 mm are observed when working on the platform
the product is used as intended and is in proper technical condition
this instruction manual is included if the product is passed on to a new owner
