the beginning
until the end of the
sound, the two wave-forms can be mixed toge-
therin two ways:
- the first way - proportion with progressive evo-
lution - consists in having 100% of wave-form
1 at the beginning of the envelope.
This then decreases progressively while wave-
form 2 is increased to arnve at a quota of 100%
at the end of the envelope.
- The second - fixed proportions - means that
the proportions of the two wave-forms remain
constant for the entire duration of the sound.

PROGRAM
THE
SOUNDS
OF THE
"ORCHESTRA" SECTION
The procedure provides for the recording of
the fundamental parameters: —
ENVELOPE,
WAVE
1 (wave-form
1) and
WAVE 2 (wave-form 2).
- Press the Custom button which is in line with
the ORCHESTRA
section,
- Press one of the buttons corresponding to
one of the 16 original
timbres to choose whe-
re the user-defined timbre will be stored im the
memory
(in the
button
there
is preset
a
"Custom" Sound substituted or modified by
the personal recording).
ENVELOPE
-
To
choose
the
type
of
nvelope
- Press the Envelope button; the correspon-
ding LED will begin to flash to show that recor-
ding is in progress. A LED corresponding to
one of the ORCHESTRA
registers will also
flash. This signal shows that at this moment the
envelope corresponding to thal button is auto-
matically being memorized.
Play a few notes on the keyboard to check
whether
(he envelope
chosen
is suitable for
ihe timbre to be created.
- lithe sound |s not thal required, press one of
the buttons (and if necessary "Select") from
the 16 ORCHESTRA
timbres; the LED will
flash signalling the envelope being memorized
in thal moment.
- Play a few notes to check if this second enve-
lope is suitable.
Continue this selection until a pleasing envelo-
pe is found,
Note - As well as the envelopes provided for
the 16 GACHESTAA
timbres, there are ano-
ther 4 envelopes which can be user-defined
and memorized by following the same procedu-
re (ENVELOPES
Section),

The recording of wave-form 1 follows thal of
the envelope; this wave form determines ihe
first hall of the sound.

res:
- La premiére maniere, avec mixages a évolu-
tion progressive, consiste a avoir au debut de
lenveloppe le 100% de la forme d'onde 7 qui

La méthode a suivre prevort lenregistrament
des parametres
fondamentaux:
ENVELOPE

- Appuyer sur le bouton Custom en ligne avec
la section ORCHESTRA.
- Appuyer sur un des boutons correspondants
aun des 16 timbres originaux alin de choisir ou

le bouton, une voix "Custom" qui sera substi-
tuée ou modifiée par l'enregistrement person-
nel est predisposes},
ENVELOPE - Choix du type d'enveloppe
- Appuyer sur le bouton Envelope: la LED cor-
respondante clignote afin de signalar que l'on
est en phase d'enregistrement.
En méme
temps, une autre LED clignote qui correspond a
un des registres ORCHESTRA. Ce signal met
en évidence que l'anveloppe corespondante a
ce registre est automatiquement
mise en
memoire a ce moment la.
- Jouer quelques notes sur le clavier afin de
verifier que l'anveloppe soit bien adaptee au
timbre a construire.
- §/ Veanveloppe n'est pas celle désirés, appuyer
sur un des boutons (et eventuellement "Select"
des 16 timbres -ORCHESTRA«. La LED, qui
signale quelle enveloppe est meémorisee a ce

WAVE 4 - Enregistrement dela forme d'onde 1
| A lenregistrement de 'enveloppe suit celui de
la forme d'onde 1 (cette forme d'ande caracte-
rise la prenuere partie du son).
:
- Appuyer sur le bouton Wave 1; la LED corre-
spondante clignote immeédiatement. Comme
pour ENVELOPE on peut mémoriser une das 16
formes d'onde prédisposées dans les timbres
ORCHESTRA, ou une des 4 formes onginelles
de la section WAVES.
- La méthode a suivre pour |'enregistrement est
la meme decrite pour le choix de lerveloppe
(ENVELOPE).

PROGRAMMIERUNG
DER
KLANGE
DER
SEKTION "ORCHESTRA"
Dieser Vorgang
sieht die Aufzeichnung
der
grundliegenden Parameter vor:
ENVELOPE,
WAVE
1 (Wellenform
1) und
WAVE 2 (Wellenform 2).
- Den Knopf Custom. eingereiht in die Sektion
ORCHESTRA, drucken.
- Einen Knopf, der einam der 16 Originalklange
entspricht, dricken, um festzusetzen wo der
individuella Kiang gespeichert wird, (In darn
Taster ist eine "Custom"-Stimmea vorgageben,
die ersetzt oder geandert wird durch die eigene
Autnahmen)
ENVELOPE - Wahl des Enveloppetypes
- Den Knopf Envelope drucken; der entspre-
|
chende LED leuchtet auf um anzuzeigen, dai
|
man
sich
in der Aufmahmephase
befindet.
Gleichzeitig Jauchtet auch ein, einer Taste von
|
ORCHESTRA entsprechender LED auf: Dieses
Signal zeigt an, dai in diesem Moment automa-
tisch dia jeder Taste ensprechende Enveloppe
gespeichert wird,
- Einige Noten auf der Tastatur spielen, um zu
prifen ob die Enveloppe fiir dan gewiinschten
Klang geeignet ist.
- Entspricht
die
Enveloppe
nicht
dem
gewiinschten, einen zweiten Knopf! (eventuell
"Select") der 16 ORCHESTRA- Klange driik-
ken, ein zweiter LED, der die in diesem Moment
gespeicherte Enveloppe anzeiat, leuchtet aut.
- Einige Noten auf der Tastatur spielen, um zu
priifan ob dieser zweite Enveloppe geeignet
ist. Mit dieser Auswahl fortfahren bis die, dam
eigenen Geschmack
enisprechende Enve-
loppe gefunden ist.
Bemerkung - Zu den vorgesehenen Envelop-
pen, kOnnen auf dieselbe Art noch 4 weitere
orginale Enveloppen (Sektion ENVELOPES)
gespeichert werden,
WAVE 1 - Aufzeichnung der Wellenform 1
Auf die Aufzeichnung der Enveloppe folgt die
Aufnahme der Wellenform 1. (Diese Wallentorm
beeinflut den ersten Teil des Klanges)
- Die Taste Wave 1 driicken; augenblicklich
leuchtet der entsprechende LED auf. Wie bei
ENVELOPE kann eine der 16, in dan ORCHE-
STRA - Kidngen enthaltene Wellenform - oder
eine der 4 originalen Wellenformen der Sektion
WAVES gespeichert werden.
* Die Aufzeichnung wird genau so durchge-
fuhrt wie bei der Enveloppe (ENVELOPE).
