12 Transport
Note:
If transporting the product with a car or similar, please
ensure that the product does not move during transport.
Preparation for transport
• Switch off the engine and let it cool down.
• Remove the spark plug connector from the spark
plug.
• Drain the motor oil of the warm motor.
• Empty the fuel tank using a petrol extraction pump
(not included in the scope of delivery) into a collec-
tion container.
• If operational, keep the engine running until the re-
maining fuel has been used up.
• Clean the cooling fins of the cylinder and the hous-
ing.
• Secure the product against slipping using a tension
strap, for example.
12.1
Transport (fig. 10)
1. In order to move the product, grip the transport han-
dle (1) and tilt the product backwards onto the
wheels (11).
2. You can now transport the product.
13 Maintenance
WARNING
Have maintenance and repair tasks that are
not described in this operating manual, car-
ried out by a specialist workshop. Use only
original spare parts.
There is a risk of accident! Always carry out
maintenance work when the engine is
switched off. There is a danger of injury! Let
the product cool down before maintenance.
Elements of the engine are hot. There is a
danger of injury and burning!
The product can start unexpectedly and cause inju-
ries.
Switch the engine off before maintenance.
Remove the spark plug connector from the spark
plug.
Allow the engine to cool down.
All protective and safety equipment must be rein-
stalled immediately after servicing and mainte-
nance work is completed.
WARNING
Ensure that all moving parts have come to a
standstill.
Note:
Place the product on a level, even surface.
Tool required:
* Not included in the scope of delivery!
• Open-ended spanner/socket spanner, size 10 mm*
• Socket spanner with extension, size 16 mm*
• Feeler gauge*
• Copper wire brush*
• Cloth*

Changing the blade (Fig. 12)
CAUTION
Wear protective gloves when handling the
blades!
Note:
Clean the blade and the blade support surface to re-
move hardened dirt residues. The blades must be posi-
tioned exactly during installation.
Note:
When installing, ensure that the blade is touching the
stop edge.
Note:
In order to prevent the blade screws loosening them-
selves, they must be glued in place with screw locking
adhesive.
Note:
The blades are reversible blades.
Blades can be reversed before new blades have to be
inserted.
1. Disassemble the feed funnel (2) and remove the
feed funnel rubber seal (H). Use a size 10 open-end-
ed spanner/socket spanner to remove the M6x16mm
screws (I).
2. Remove the cover (13) from the shredding unit (12).
3. You can use the hexagon on the shredding unit (12)
to turn the cutter disc (23) so that the blade screws
(24) are well accessible. Use a socket spanner with
extension, size 16.
4. Use a size 16 socket spanner with extension to loos-
en the blade screws (24) on the blade (25) and re-
move the blade (25) carefully.
5. Insert the new blade (25) and secure the blade (25)
with the blade screws (24).
6. Turn the cutter disc (23) in order to replace the sec-
ond blade (25). Proceed as described in point 3
above to do this.
