pool is constructed, is flat and load-bearing (no backfilled areas).
Settlement would inevitably lead to deformation and damage to your pool. The installation site must be free of grass, stones, roots and sharp objects.
Stones and roots must be removed, otherwise this could cause damage to the pool liner.
If you install your swimming pool directly on concrete, asphalt or a similar surface, it is absolutely necessary that a commercially available mineral
fibre fleece is inserted as a separating layer between this surface and the liner. Under no circumstances should you install the film directly on
concrete, asphalt, tar, cardboard, wood or grass. This would inevitably damage the film.
The pool is not suitable for installation in the ground; there is no guarantee if this is not done. Levelling the

Starting from the lowest point, level your set-up area. Dig out the raised areas. Do not fill up the low spots, as this could lead to settling. (Picture 6,

Recommendation - Preparation of the installation site
For this type of pool, it is recommended that a bottom slab is concreted. Do not forget to provide appropriate reinforcement. The bottom slab must be
exactly horizontal.
If you do not want to pour a concrete floor slab, you should use concrete underlay slabs as shown. Concrete slabs underneath the bottom rail
connectors are not absolutely necessary, but we recommend their installation for stability and safety reasons. Otherwise subsidence may occur,
which could subsequently damage the pool. Alternatively, we recommend tread-proof clamp-fold panels (5cm), which are available from us
separately.
The concrete slabs must be sunk flush with the installation site. For this type of installation, it is essential to lift off the turf. (Picture 40,41)
Space requirement:
Earth installation
If the pool is installed in the ground, you must provide suitable pressure protection around the pool. This can be made of lightweight concrete, lean
concrete or by building a surrounding wall (at least 15 cm thick). It is essential to take this into account when planning the excavation!
Why? The pressure of the backfill with soil or gravel is a multiple of the water pressure. If backfilling with lightweight or lean concrete is not used for
stabilisation, the pool may collapse when emptied.
