Adult supervision is required at all times (bearing in mind that the risk of drowning is greatest in children under five).
• Designate a competent adult to supervise the pool each time it is used.
• Inexperienced swimmers and non-swimmers should wear personal protective equipment when using the
• Use the pool.
Safety devices
• It is advisable to install a barrier (and secure all doors and windows - if possible) to prevent unauthorised access to the swimming pool.
• Barriers, pool covers, pool alarms or similar safety devices are good tools, but they are no substitute for uninterrupted and competent adult
supervision.
Safety equipment
• It is advisable to keep life saving equipment (e.g. life ring) by the pool.
Safe use of the pool
• Encourage all users - especially children - to learn to swim.
• Learn the immediate life-saving measures (resuscitation) and refresh these skills regularly. This can
make the life-saving difference in an emergency.
• Instruct all pool users, including children, what to do in an emergency.
• Never throw yourself into shallow water. This can lead to serious injury or death.
• Do not use the swimming pool if you are taking alcohol or medication; this may affect your ability to use
the pool safely.
• If pool covers are used, remove them completely from the water surface before entering the pool.
These installation instructions generally apply if you install your swimming pool free-standing. If you partially or completely submerge your swimming
pool, please observe the separate instructions in the installation manual.
To protect you from unnecessary surprises, it makes sense to make a plan about what material you need and what you want to do and on what
schedule before you start building the pool.
Do not set up your pool on a windy day. The steel shell is very difficult to handle in strong winds, could buckle and be irreparably damaged.
Furthermore, fill the pool immediately after installation to avoid any damage caused by rising wind etc. The steel-walled pool must not be left
unfilled. Install the pool liner on a warm, sunny day so that it is easy to lay out in the pool. However, you should also not install the swimming pool
liner in direct sunlight, as the thermal expansion will not ensure an optimal fit of the liner. The best time to install the swimming pool liner is in the
summer, early in the morning or late in the evening. Do not install the swimming pool liner when the outside temperature is below 20°C, otherwise
the liner will be stiff and very difficult to install.
The swimming pool filter system and possibly other accessories are electrically operated. If you do not have appropriate electrical
connections in the area of your garden, it is necessary to make them.
The required electrical connections must be made by a licensed electrical contractor. The supply lines must be earthed and additionally protected
with a 30 milliamp residual current circuit breaker. The respective legal regulations such as ÖVE, VDE etc. must be complied with.
Avoid sharp objects in the pool. This could cause damage to the liner. Do not climb on the handrail. This could cause
damage to the handrail or the pool wall.
Swimming pools with a depth of 132 cm are not suitable for head dives. Non-observance can lead to serious head or spinal injuries!
Never leave your children unattended when they are in or around the pool!
If there are children in your household or in the neighbourhood who are not yet able to swim, we recommend that you install an inexpensive mesh
fence around the pool, which is available in DIY stores. Tarpaulins or other pool covers do not provide child safety. So do not rely on pool covers
of any kind to relieve you of responsibility for your children.
Location of your pool
When choosing a location for your pool, you should consider several factors.
In order to enable proper installation of the pool, it is absolutely necessary to have a solid, load-bearing surface. Therefore, your swimming pool must
never be installed on piled up surfaces. This could lead to subsidence and thus to damage to the pool. If possible, choose the sunniest spot in your
garden for your pool. The larger the area around the pool, the better. At the very least, you should have a free area of approx. 90 cm around the pool.
If there is the possibility of a wind-protected location, you should choose this for your swimming pool. A swimming pool that is exposed to the wind
without protection is subject to high heat loss through convection or evaporation.
You should not place your pool directly next to or under trees, shrubs, etc. (great maintenance effort).
Under no circumstances should you install your pool under overhead power lines. Avoid placing your pool on earth wires.
Location of the filter system
Your pool should be equipped with a sand filter system. In the case of free-standing filter systems, a minimum distance from the edge of the
pool must be maintained. For further information, please refer to the enclosed description of the respective filter system.
Preparation of the installation site
We want you to have many years of great pleasure with your pool, so it is imperative that you give the appropriate importance to the site preparation. The
better and firmer the site is prepared, the longer you will enjoy your pool. We therefore ask you to take appropriate care. It is absolutely necessary that the
