When selecting to use the water sampler for pressurised pip lines one of the relays in
the sampler must be used to control an external blocking system (e.g. electrical ball
valve) in the pressurised pipe line.
This blocking valve is only opened when a sampling sequence is initiated. This safety
feature avoids any liquid getting into the sampler during the time when sampling is
dormant.

Press. time: The time for the pressure to rise, the sampler blows the sampling hose
free from obstructions and activates the blocking system after a preset
time so that the media flow to the sampler is then free.

Equalise: Time required to equalise the pressure between the pressurised sampler
and atmospheric.
An internally controlled valve (V2) is used to bleed the air from the pressurised water
sampling system. This then means that the sample can flow freely, no pressure, into
the sampling bottle. This valve does not need to be set up.
When the parameter pressurised sampling is selected, the dosing cycle is done using
pressure, this means that the pump supports the return flow of the sampled medium
from the suction hose.
