Suitable fabrics
Protective suits (e.g. Nomex® fire-fighting ap-
parel), overalls, jackets, trousers
For an optimised drying result, turn the fabrics in-
side out.
Synthetic fibres and cottons
Close Velcro fastenings or cover with Floorband.
For an optimised drying result, turn the fabrics in-
side out.
Fabrics treated with a proofing agent.
Proofed fabrics may only be used with proofing
agents that are suitable for membrane fabrics
and are based on fluorochemical compounds.
Caution: fire hazard! Fabrics proofed with par-
affinic agents must not be tumble dried.
Close Velcro fastenings or cover with Floorband.
Breathing masks with head straps
Breathing masks may only be tumble dried if they
are held in place in the drum by special holders
(optional accessories).
Fire brigade helmets that the manufacturer has
approved for machine drying.
Remove helmets from the protective bag after
washing and place on the base of the dryer drum.
Visors must be pushed into the helmet before
drying.
The helmets must be acclimatised to the ambient
air for 24 hours after the end of the programme.
