Troubleshooting

If you have any problems with your AUDIOLINE DECT5500, please check through the
following points. For claims under guarantee, please contact your dealer. The guarantee
period is two years.
If you have technical problems, our service hotline number is 0180 5 00 13 88.
No calls can be made
The connection has been
lost
Cannot dial
The system fails to react
or is in an undefined state.
The charging indicator(s)
fail to light.
After a few hours, the
battery symbol in the
display starts to blink.
The display is dark

- Troubleshooting -
The telephone line connection is not correct or there
is a fault on the line.
Only use the new telephone cable supplied.
Use another telephone to check whether your line is
in order.
The transformer plug is not properly inserted or there
is a power failure.
The rechargeable batteries are discharged or
defective.
You are too far from the base station.
You are too far from the base station.
The base station is badly located.
The dialling mode is wrongly set (see chapter 7.7).
Reset to the default factory settings.
First unplug the transformer plug for a short time.
For the factory (default) settings, see chapter 7.12.
Ensure that the handset is correctly placed on the
base station, clean the contact surfaces of the
handset and the base station with a soft, dry cloth.
Place the hand station on the base station and leave
it for ten hours.
If there is no improvement, replace the rechargeable
batteries.
Caused by exposure to direct sunlight. Allow the
handset to cool down.
