When mounting the fitting on the surface, fasten the
mounting plate to the door leaf for the PegaSys door
fitting. Use fastening material suitable for the door's
structure.
NOTE
Level door leaf required
If there are blind rivet nuts, they must be flush with the
door leaf surface.
1. If there are no blind rivet nuts, countersink the drill
holes with a countersink after drilling the door.
2. Insert M5×16 blind rivet nuts.
These blind rivet nuts must also be flush with

the door.
You can also use a self-tapping screw for fastening in
addition to the blind rivet nuts. An additional hole (Ø
4 mm) is required for this screw.
7. Mounting the fitting on
the surface
ü If necessary, locking cylinder with max. 4 mm
projection
Door pre-drilled.
ü
STX20 screwdriver at hand (length > 50 mm).
ü
TX25 screwdriver at hand.
ü
1. For non-WP: insert the batteries into the battery
box.

2. For non-WP: insert the battery box into the fitting.

3. Insert the spindle into the mortise lock from the
outer side of the door (hole in the spindle points to-
wards the latch).

4. Fasten the mounting plate on the outer side of the
door (TX25).

5. Attach the fitting to the spindle (opening in the
lockbox points towards the cylinder).

6. Attach the fitting to the mounting plate.

7. For WP: route the battery cable through a free drill
hole to the inner side of the door.
8. Lift the fitting towards the door.
9. Screw the fitting onto the mounting plate through
the holes next to the battery box (STX 20).

10. Optional: insert a round or profile cylinder into the
mortise lock from the inner side and fasten it with a
fastening screw.
NOTE
Cylinder opening for F9 variants
The locking cylinder opening must be closed for fire-
retardant versions (F9).
Install your own locking cylinder or the supplied

blank cylinder.
11. Screw any internal rosettes/plates onto the inner
side of the door (TX25).

12. Fasten the grub screw on the inside handle.

13. Place any existing covers on the inside rosettes/
backplates.

14. For WP: connect the external battery box cable.
15. For WPSC: screw the external battery box into
place on the inner side.

16. Check the gap between the frame and panel (2–
5 mm).

17. If you use a locking cylinder, check that the mortise
lock can also be opened with the locking cylinder
(= transmission function).
18. Programme the fitting (e.g. with a demo card set).
