a) Testing individual circuits

- Connect the network circuit you want totest tooutput
socket 13 and the other end to socket 14.
- Switch the cable test on with the „ON/OFF" pushbut-
ton (9).
- You can use pushbutton 15 to switch between
automatic and manual test modes.
AUTO
If you press and hold the button, the individual wires are
automatically tested, one by one.
MANUAL
If you do not press and hold the button, you can switch from one individual wire
to the next by pressing the „TEST" button (10). This function is particularly rec-
ommended if there is a fault in the circuit, as you can read the interrupted or con-
nected wires at your leisure.
- After you finish testing, always switch the measuring device off. The cable tester
does not switch off automatically.
