MEASURING WITH THE CABLE TESTER

Only check network lines/installations when the voltage is off.
The multimeter consists of two independent and electrical-
ly isolated parts. Only the operating elements shown here
are required for testing cables.
You can use the cable tester to check that network lines
are functioning and connected correctly (note the appropriate pin assignment for the
different wiring systems).
The CT-3 is also able to check the individual circuits in installed circuits. To check
installed circuits, you require the enclosed external circuit indicator.
The bar display at the top shows which individual wires are being currently checked
(output signal at socket 13).
The lower bar display shows the incoming signal at socket 14. This display has the
same function as the external circuit indicator. The following display schemata can
occur.
