7.4 Calling up the web user interface
It is possible to show status information about
the device via the network and to make some
settings . To access the web user interface via the
web browser of a computer / tablet / smartphone,
the IP address of the device is required . The
IP-address can be found in the menu "System
settings" under
Enter the IP address of the device in the address
bar of the browser and call up the web user
interface (available in English only) . The device
must be connected to the network at that mo-
ment . Five tabs are available . When the web
interface has been called up, the tab "Status"
is selected (fig . 26) .

8 Operation
This chapter mainly refers to operation directly
on the device . The corresponding buttons on the
remote control are listed in the brief overview in
chapter 6 and are not described in detail here,
except for the functions that are only available
via remote control .

8.1 Basic functions
8.1.1 Switching on /off, standby,
selecting the operating mode
To switch the device on or off, use the switch
POWER . To go to standby, press the button
STANDBY . On standby, the display will indicate
the date and the time . The same button can
be used to switch the device on again from
standby .
Note: After switching on the device with the POWER
switch, the device will always return to its last mode,
i . e . if it was on standby when it was switched off, it
will also be on standby when it is switched on again;
if, on the other hand, it was switched on, it will be
immediately on when it is switched on again .
To select the operating mode, press the button
MODE repeatedly until the desired operating
mode is shown on the display .
It is also possible to switch to a different
operating mode via the main menu: The main
menu can be called up in any operating mode:
Press the button MENU, turn the knob CON-
TROL SELECT to select
knob to confirm . In the main menu, select the
desired operating mode and confirm .
In each operating mode and in standby mode,
an icon on the bottom right of the display will
indicate connection to the network (wireless
LAN or LAN icon, depending on the type of
connection):
