10 Control via RS-232 Interface

Via the RS-232 interface, the device can be con-
trolled from a computer with a terminal program
designed for this purpose . Setting up the RS-232
control connection requires specific technical
knowledge .
Connect the 9-pole D-Sub jack on the rear panel
of the device to the RS-232 interface of the com-
puter (if there is no RS-232 interface on the
computer, use an adapter "USB to RS-232") .
A UART connection is used for communication
between the computer and the device . The fol-
