8.1.2 Adjusting the volume, muting

Adjust the volume with the control MAIN VOL-
UME . The range is 0 ... 32 . The value adjusted
will briefly appear on the display .
To mute/ unmute the sound, use the button
MUTE . A crossed-out speaker icon on the display
will indicate muting .
8.2 Operating modes "Internet radio"
and „Podcasts"
In order to receive an audio stream from the
Internet, the network settings must have been
made ( ☞ chapter 7 .2 or 7 .3) .
Press the button MODE repeatedly until the cor-
responding operating mode (
or appears . Then the last station or
Podcasts)
podcast selected in this operating mode will
be played or, when the mode is called up for
the first time, the menu item

Selecting a station / podcast
The device obtains its station /podcast list from
the Internet radio /podcast portal of the chipset
manufacturer "Frontier Smart Technologies" .
The station list is available in the operating mode
"Internet radio", the podcast list is available in
the operating mode "Podcasts" . To access the
respective list while playing an audio stream,
press the button MENU . The menu in the operat-
ing mode "Internet radio" (fig . 27) or the menu
in the operating mode "Podcasts" (fig . 28) will
appear:
