The network connection will be established
when the key has been confirmed .
If the router supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected
Setup), the WPS menu will appear instead of
the menu for the network key:

WPS can be used to integrate a device into an
encrypted wireless network without having
to enter the network key . Two methods are
available .
Method 1:
If the router supports WPS by push but-
ton (PBC Push Button Configuration), this
method should be used:

First press the WPS button on the router,
then press the knob CONTROL SELECT on the
device . The connection will be established .

Method 2:
If the router supports WPS via input of a PIN
code, the following method can be used as
an alternative: Select and confirm
menu will appear, displaying an
WPS Setup
8-digit PIN code . Enter this PIN code on the
router and press the knob CONTROL SELECT
on the device . Then start the connection
setup on the router . The detailed procedure
can also be found in the manual / user inter-
face of the router!

Press the knob CONTROL SELECT to termi-
nate the setup: the main menu will appear .
Use the main menu or the button MODE
to select the operating mode desired (chap-
ter 8 .1 .1) .
If the connection fails to be established, check
the settings of your router (e . g . the SSID, the
WPS method used or the network key) before
trying again . To improve wireless reception, it
may help to reduce the distance between the
device and the router or to adjust the position
of the wireless LAN antenna .
In case of incorrect connection, reset the
network settings (menu "System settings"
➜ Network ➜ Clear network settin g s
