Each User Method can contain up to 20 steps. Each Method Step
contains a list of process parameters that must be defined and saved
before the Method Step can be part of a User Method.
Similar to the User Groups and User Methods, the Copy and Insert
functions can be used to allow you to reuse existing Struers and
User Method Steps. This means that these are the most fundamental
building blocks when creating new User Methods using the insert
function.
Two or more method steps can be used as "phases" in a method step.
When the same surface, suspension and lubricant are used the other
parameters like force and dosing level can be varied to achieve a finer
surface finish or to have a more gentle start or finish of the preparation step.
These "phases" can have individual preparation times and will be carried
out successively without stopping between the "phases".



