Stopping the Process

For OP-versions Only

To stop the turntable (and water application if using a wet process),
press Stop  on the TegraPol's control panel.
When using an oxide polishing suspension, the last 15 seconds of
the preparation time are used to clean the samples and polishing
cloth as well as flushing the dosing tubes using water.
If you want to stop this polishing step before it is completed, press
Stop  and the polishing disc and the specimen holder will stop
rotating while the water will start/continue to flush for the prescribed
15 seconds. To stop the water flow immediately, press Stop  again.
If you stop the OP-version in this manner, ensure that the OP pump is
cleaned afterwards to avoid it becoming clogged.
