Insert the specimen holder.
Ensure that the dressing arm is located in the "parked or
resting" position on the left-hand side of the machine and that
the sliding cover on the stone guard is located all the way to
the right.
Lower the shield.
Using the software display, enter the GRINDING menu and
set/check the correct time and force.
Start the grinding process by pressing and holding the two
start buttons simultaneously until the specimen holder starts
rotating.
The software display will appear as:
Although the force setting can be changed during the grinding process, this
is not recommended when using Stock removal.
When the time has elapsed, the grinding stone will automatically
stop rotating and the specimen holder will return to its initial
position.
