Putting on the shoulder strap
1. Loop the shoulder strap around so that the pad rests
on the shoulder.

2. Attach the snap hook of the shoulder strap into the
eye at the top of the device.
3. If necessary, adjust the length of the shoulder strap.

a Shorten the shoulder strap: Hold the length ad-
juster firmly and pull on the end of the strap.
b Lengthen the shoulder strap: Hold the length ad-
juster firmly and pull the strap opposite the end of
the strap.

Starting work

ATTENTION
Risk of damage from dry running!
When operating the device with or without an empty
tank, there is a risk of damage from the pump running
dry.
Only operate the device as long as the tank is attached
to the device, and there is disinfectant solution or fresh
water in the tank.
1. Fill the tank, see chapter Filling the tank.
2. Press the ON / OFF switch electrostatic charge to
the "Blitz" position.
The disinfectant solution is electrostatically charged.

3. Press the unlocking button.
The ON / OFF button is unlocked.

4. Press the ON / OFF button.
The device switches on.
5. Check whether the disinfectant solution emerges as
a finely atomized spray mist at the nozzle, otherwise
see chapter Vent the device or Troubleshooting
guide.
6. Move the device in even pendulum movements over
the area to be treated, and apply the disinfectant
solution as a closed film.
Note
If the electrostatic charge is switched on, it can lead to
unpleasantly noticeable electrostatic discharge through
the operator. If you find this uncomfortable, switch off
the electrostatic charge using the ON / OFF switch for
electrostatic charge.
7. Release the ON / OFF button.
The device switches off.
8. Wait for the recommended contact time for the dis-
infectant solution.

Interrupting operation

1. Release the ON / OFF button.
The device switches off.

2. Press the locking button.
The ON / OFF button is locked.
3. Place the unit on the undersides of the tank and bat-
tery pack, or attach it to the shoulder strap, see
chapter Putting on the shoulder strap.
ATTENTION
Do not lay the device on its sides, otherwise disinfectant
solution may escape through the ventilation hole in the
tank, and damage surfaces that are sensitive to mois-
ture.

1. Release the ON / OFF button.
The device switches off.
2. Rinse the unit, see chapter Rinsing the device.
3. Press the battery pack unlocking button, and pull the
battery pack out of the battery mount.

4. Charge the battery pack, see operating instructions
and safety instructions for the battery pack and the
charger.
Also charge partly discharged battery packs after
use.
Storing the device
ATTENTION
Risk of damage and odour development from liq-
uids remaining in the device!
Liquids in the device can lead to bacterial accumulation
and odour development when not in use or in storage.
Disinfectant residues can dry up in the device and
cause malfunctions.
Rinse the device with fresh water at the end of work and
before storing it.
Empty the tank at the end of work and before storage.
1. Rinse the unit, see chapter Rinsing the device.
2. Remove and charge the battery pack, see chapter
Ending operation and the operating instructions and
safety instructions for the battery pack and charger.
3. Clean and disinfect the unit, see chapter Cleaning
and disinfecting the device.
4. Store the device in a dry interior space protected
from frost and direct sunlight.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to unintentionally escaping disin-
fectant solution!
There is a risk of injury due to disinfectant solution if the
device is switched on unintentionally.
Before doing any work on the device (refilling the tank,
changing the battery pack, cleaning) and before trans-
porting the device, switch it off, and press the locking
button of the ON / OFF button.
CAUTION
Tipping and sliding of the unit during transport
Risk of injury and damage
When transporting in vehicles, secure the unit against
slipping and tipping according to the respective guide-
lines.
CAUTION
Risk of injury and damage
Be aware of the weight of the device during transporta-
tion.
1. Press the locking button.
The ON / OFF button is locked.
2. Lift the unit by the handle and carry it or use the
shoulder strap, see chapter Putting on the shoulder
strap.
3. Before transporting the device in a vehicle, stow it
away or secure it against sliding, tipping and being
thrown around.
