Connecting/using the
appliance
1. Connect the mains plug to the socket.

Start-up
Cleaning before use
The appliance should be cleaned before first
use, for example to ensure that packaging
remnants will not negatively affect the taste
of food (see page EN-33).
Heating up the appliance for
the first time
A slight odour may be produced when the tu-
bular heating elements are used for the first
time. This is not harmful and will disappear
after a short time.
1. Empty the cooking chamber completely
and brush or blow it out.
2. Heat the appliance for 10 minutes at 200 °C
in convection mode (see page EN-25).
