Connection
Depending on the installation alcove, the ap-
pliance must be connected before or after
installation.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock / fi re hazard!
Touching live parts may result in severe
injury or death.
■ Since all poles of the appliance can-
not be disconnected from the mains
via an accessible disconnecting de-
vice, an all-pole disconnecting device
in accordance with overvoltage cate-

• Check whether the appliance's supply volt-
age is compatible with the supply voltage
used in your house (see the type plate).
• Connect the appliance only to a profes-
sionally installed earthed socket with suffi-
cient fuse protection (230 V~/50 Hz/16 A).
• Do not use multiplugs or extension cables.

Connection requirements

• To connect your new appliance to the elec-
tricity supply, you will need a professional-
ly installed earthed socket with adequate
fuse protection (see "Technical specifica-
tions" on page EN-43).
• The connection voltage of the appliance
must correspond to the mains voltage in
your home (see rating plate on the back of
the appliance).
• The plug socket must be located away
from the back of the microwave, otherwise
the plug will touch the back panel and the
microwave will not push all the way in.
• Do not use multiplugs or extension cables!
