• Continue to hold the Coffee button to set, until, the
machine has dispensed the desired dose;
• By releasing the button, the new dose is saved;
• It is possible to set the new dose immediately through
the same button or another available one;
Note: This learning function is also present in the manual
version and allows you to store the maximum delivery
time. To activate it must press and hold the dispense
button until you spent the maximum delivery time to be
set (default is 90 seconds, which corresponds to the
maximum setting). It is therefore preferable not to hold the
purge button for more than 10 seconds if you do not want
to change this timeout.
PROLONGED MACHINE
INACTIVITY
If the appliance is not going to be used for a long time, it
is advisable to:
• Turn it off and disconnect all electric;
• Empty the water tank;
• Empty out the drawer of used capsules.
It is also advisable to turn off the appliance every day,
when it is not used, so as to save energy.
Using the appliance for the first time after it has not been
used for a long period or remains without water, it is rec-
ommended to run a rinse cycle, delivering around half a
tank of water using a cup (for more details see also Chap-
ter " FOR THE FIRST USE").

PAN CLEANING
Pan ❽ as to be rinsed thoroughly in order to remove cof-
fee scales.
It can be washed with hot water and dishes liquid deter-
gent or specific washing powder in order to eliminate cof-
fee scales.
Note: the drip tray is dishwasher safe.

WATER TANK

Tank ⓫ has to be cleaned weekly with dishes liquid de-
tergent.
The water in the tank has to be replaced every day. It
is advisable to use good quality water with low mineral
content but not de-ionised or distilled water.
Note: the water tank is dishwasher safe.
WARNING: Only fill the tank ⓫ with clean and
cold water. Never fill the tank ⓫ with carbon-
ated water, milk or other liquid.
After washing the tank ⓫ make a dispensing wash cycle
of the machine.
REMOVING MINERAL
DEPOSITS
To keep your coffee maker operating efficiently, you should
clean away the mineral deposits left by the water regularly
according to the water quality in your area and the frequen-
cy use the appliance, the detail is as follows:
1. Fill the water tank with water and descaler to the MAX
level in the gauge of coffee maker (the scale of water
and descaler is 4:1, the detail refers to the instruction
of descaler. Please use "household descaler", you can
use the citric acid instead of the descaler (the one hun-
dred parts of water and three parts of citric acid).
2. Turn on the power switch ❾,the red indicator ❿ will
flash. Wait until the white indicator ❿ turns on.
3. Position a container on the cup holder grid ❼.
4. Check the closing of the handle ❶.
5. MANUAL version: Press the coffee button ⓭ and al-
low the liquid to flow for 1 minute. Then stop flowing by
press the coffee button ⓭ again.
DOSES version: Press the big cup button ❸ and
about 50 ml liquid will flow out.
6. Wait for 20 minutes with the machine turned on.
7. MANUAL version: Press the coffee button ⓭ until
there is no more water in the tank ⓫.
DOSES version: Press the free dose button ❺ to to-
tally empty the tank ⓫.
8. Rinse the tank well and fill with clean water. Press the
coffee button (❺ or ⓭) until all of water is used up.
